Our coaches from BC Balkan's school for adolescents Viktoria Marinova, Nikolay Peev and Miroslav Ralchev want to express their gratitude publicly with this address. Here's what they shared:
"Hardly anyone thought that in our geographical latitudes such things could happen. We had all heard and read about such things, which are inherent only to those living overseas. Yes, but that was until 31.07.2026, when we - Viktoria Marinova, Nikolay Peev and Miroslav Ralchev coaches in BC "Balkan" - Botevgrad were surprised by sudden and unexpected bank translations. Stress, worry and divergent thoughts from the large amount that appeared before our eyes. We all thought it was a mistake, but everything turned out to be accurate and correctly addressed. These were wire transfers with reason - THANK YOU! An already grown boy had not forgotten us, nor had he forgotten our common memories, emotions and path. One boy moved us to tears, left us speechless and shook us emotionally, this boy's name is Alexander Gavalyugov. It's hard to accept such a gesture of respect and appreciation, it's hard and emotional to accept this THANK YOU, it's still hard for us to realize what we've meant to this boy over the years, how we've affected him and what he's experienced every day we've been together. He has shown us time and again that he has the spirit and character of a winner, that he is hardworking and dedicated to basketball to the extreme, that he has a good character and a huge heart - all qualities that are inherent in GREAT athletes. His parents can certainly be proud to have raised and educated a man of great morals and undeniable human virtues. We, as his coaches and part of his development path, are grateful that life met us with him and gave us the opportunity to experience unforgettable emotions together. Now is the time for us to tell you - thank you, Sashi!
